HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Today is the 1st September. September is in the Sardinian language "capudanni" (new year's eve). This tradition has a Medieval origin during the Byzantine presence. Infact the Byzantines used in that period a dating system which is characterized by cycles of 15 years and each year began precisely the 1st September. That's why we wish you HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
